Terms of Service

1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Spot ("Platform"), operated by Slotex Technologies ("Spot", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Spot mobile application, website, and all related services. By creating an account, making a booking, or using any Spot service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will apply to your next booking. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Your continued use of Spot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.

2. Key Definitions

• "Booking" — an appointment for one or more services from a Merchant made through the Platform. • "Merchant" or "Partner" — a third-party business offering services on the Platform (salons, spas, barbershops, wellness centers, etc.). • "Merchant Services" — any services offered by a Merchant through the Platform. • "Confirmation" — a written confirmation of your Booking sent via the app or email. • "Cancellation Policy" — terms set by the Merchant regarding cancellation fees and time windows. • "No-Show Policy" — terms set by the Merchant regarding charges for missed appointments. • "Deposit" — an advance payment required by a Merchant to confirm a Booking.

3. Our Services

Spot connects you with Merchants who offer beauty, wellness, barbershop, spa, and personal care services across Saudi Arabia. Through the Platform, you can: • Discover and browse Merchants near you • Book appointments for services • Pay for services securely • Leave reviews and ratings • Receive booking confirmations and reminders Spot acts as an intermediary between you and Merchants. We do not provide the Merchant Services ourselves. Your contract for the actual services is between you and the Merchant.

4. Your Account

To use Spot, you must create an account and provide accurate information including your name, phone number, and email address. You are responsible for: • Keeping your login credentials confidential • All activity that occurs under your account • Updating your information to keep it accurate • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Making a Booking

When you make a Booking, you select the Merchant, service(s), date, and time. Before confirming, you will be shown any applicable Cancellation Policy, No-Show Policy, or Deposit requirements set by the Merchant. A Booking is confirmed when we send you a Confirmation. All Bookings are subject to Merchant availability. We send Confirmations via push notification, email, or SMS. You must arrive at the Merchant's location at the scheduled time. If your health or other relevant information changes before your appointment, you must inform the Merchant directly.

6. Payments

Prices for Merchant Services are displayed on the Platform in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and are set by the Merchants. The final amount may be adjusted to reflect additional services or discounts applied at the time of your visit. Payments are processed securely through our licensed payment processor in Saudi Arabia. We accept major credit/debit cards and Mada. When you pay through the Platform, we collect payment on behalf of the Merchant. You agree to provide a valid payment method and pay for all services you book. Currency conversion costs, if any, are your responsibility.

7. Deposits & Tips

Merchants may require a deposit of up to 100% of the Booking value to confirm your appointment. Deposit terms are displayed before you confirm your Booking. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the Merchant's policy. After your appointment, you may have the option to tip the Merchant through the Platform. Tips are entirely at your discretion and are paid in full to the Merchant, subject to payment processing fees.

8. Cancellations & No-Shows

You may cancel or reschedule a Booking through the Platform or by contacting the Merchant directly, subject to the Merchant's Cancellation Policy. Key points: • Each Merchant sets their own cancellation window (e.g., 24 or 48 hours before the appointment) • Cancellations within the restricted window may incur a fee of up to 100% of the Booking value • Failure to attend your appointment ("No-Show") may result in a charge of up to 100% of the Booking value • If you need to cancel, do so as early as possible through the Spot app Review the Merchant's Cancellation Policy carefully before confirming your Booking.

9. Promotions & Promo Codes

Merchants may offer promotions, discounts, or promo codes through the Platform. These are issued at the Merchant's discretion and may be withdrawn at any time. Personal promo codes must not be shared with others. Promo codes that are misused, shared fraudulently, or cause technical issues may be cancelled by the Merchant or Spot. Spot is not responsible for promo codes or promotions offered by Merchants.

10. Reviews & Ratings

After your appointment, you may leave a review and rating for the Merchant. Reviews must be: • Based on a genuine experience with the Merchant • Honest, fair, and respectful • Free from offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content • Not spam, advertising, or promotional material Your first name and last initial will be visible with your review. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines. Reviews remain visible even after you close your account.

11. Restrictions & Account Suspension

We may restrict or suspend your access to the Platform if: • You have a pattern of cancellations, no-shows, or chargebacks • You fail any fraud prevention checks • We suspect fraud, money laundering, or unauthorized account use • You behave abusively toward Spot staff or Merchant employees • You breach these Terms or applicable laws Merchants may also independently restrict your ability to book with them.

12. Liability

Spot acts as an intermediary. We are not liable for: • The quality, safety, or suitability of Merchant Services • Injuries, damages, or losses arising from Merchant Services • Merchant availability, accuracy of descriptions, or pricing errors • Disputes between you and a Merchant Our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Spot harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: • Your use or misuse of the Platform • Breach of these Terms or applicable law • Inaccurate information you provide • Violation of any third party's rights • Your interactions with Merchants

14. Platform Fees

Use of the Spot Platform is currently free for customers. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance and give you the option to continue or stop using the Platform.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@slotex.sa to attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
